The ‘Howes Table’ by Davidson typifies the meaning of collaboration for Howes & Landino. We have worked with the founder, Richard Davidson, for over twenty years and we now work with his daughter, Alexandra. Designed in London, the table celebrates the artistry of starburst marquetry. Completed by hand, each table is a celebration of generations of crafting knowledge and expertise passed down. The design, which mimics the rays of a setting sun bursting forth is art-like and exceptional.

The Howes Dining Table
A stunning oval dining table that is a true celebration and exemplar of craftsmanship, part of an exciting collaboration with Davidson.
The Howes dining table boasts a soft oval top with an eye-catching radial pattern. Consisting of 22 individually hand-cut segments of veneer, depending on the size of the table, it requires a great deal of skill to ensure that each one meets in the middle to form a perfect point.
The oval tabletop is mirrored in the base, sitting on two semi-circular pedestals, offering a less corporate, or formal look with no obvious ‘head of the table’. To the edge and base there is a striking hand-carved riverbed relief pattern finished in liquid bronze, which adds an element of pure luxury.
